DigitalLawUK is looking forward to presenting a guide on getting the most out of Social Media tomorrow evening for Taylor Bracewell LLP. It will be a useful opportunity to share some ideas with local business people on how to go about using social media to market your business without having to expend a large amount of time doing so. There are a few easy Apps out there that can do a lot of the hard work for you once you have set them up. That way you can be active each day on social media, developing  a presence, but not necessarily drafting content yourself.

We will be looking at the benefits of using Google Searches to find content, scheduling them with Hootsuite, using paper.li to draw your content together and the vagaries of using Twitter to develop followers. We will be dispelling a few myths, and also looking at best practice when developing your online profile. Of course this has to be balanced with a few examples of what you shouldn’t do, which should ensure that attendees don’t leave the event and make the common mistakes that can land the unwary user of social media in Court or even lose them their job.

We will be looking at LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, You Tube and WordPress on the night. If there are any other areas that you would like to see covered, why not make a suggestion below?

The last few spaces are still available – please see here for booking details

It’s a bout time solicitors focus on using social media. It’s a quick and productive way of improving your knowledge and also of promoting your own practice. Keep it up!
